Nominations are welcome from entire recruiting departments or geographically/functionally aligned teams, showing innovation and commitment to delivering a quality service to the company. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category.  

The Judges won’t be judging this category solely on performance metrics, but will be paying particular attention to the positive impact that the team has had on the success of the company/region/business unit, as well as positive influence on employer branding and customer experience. IN-HOUSE RECRUITER OF THE YEAR

Self-nominations will be accepted for this category, from an individual's manager, HRD, team members, or an internal customer(s). This category recognises outstanding achievement of an individual Recruiter. 

 The judges will be eager to understand the positive impact the nominees have made to their colleagues in HR, to the stakeholders within your business and to those interested in working for your organisation. BEST EMERGING TALENT RECRUITMENT STRATEGY

This category recognises exceptional creativity and innovation in development and delivery of an effective Graduate, Intern, Apprentice and School Leaver Recruitment and development programme. Testimonies from those on the programme, as well as from customers of the programme will be required. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category. 

The Judges will be keen to hear how the strategy seeks to attract and hire top talent, how you engage and manage all applicants, what your assessment/selection criteria and processes looks like, how you engage with those hired and how you structured the development programme for those hired. Testimonies from in-house stakeholders and graduates hired or in pipeline, will be of considerable interest to the Judges.. Please provide the information requested below. RECRUITMENT LEADER OF THE YEAR

This category is open to those holding a team or departmental leadership position within any size of organisation. Those nominated may be Team Leaders, Supervisors, Project Managers, Recruitment Managers, Heads of Recruitment or Directors of Recruitment or hold similar positions and who have shown outstanding skills and capabilities in leading their project, team or function.

The Judges will be eager to understand the positive impact the nominees have made to the motivation, development and performance of those under their leadership, as well as the delivery of the service to the stakeholders within your business. BEST EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAMME

This category recognises exceptional creativity and innovation in development and delivery of an effective Employee Referral Programme (ERP).  The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category. 

The Judges will be keen to understand how the ERP has been developed, as well as deployed and marketed. They will look at how you have ensured that the pipeline of referrals is of suitable quality without disengaging referrers and other metrics as well as the impact to Employee Engagement initiatives.

BEST CAREERS WEBSITE

 This category is open to all recruitment teams and other partnering departments in the same organisation, if applicable. Entries are welcomed from Recruitment Media or Marketing organisations on behalf of their customers. This category recognises the most effective, engaging and candidate-friendly Careers Website and its impact on Recruiting function as well as the Candidate Experience and Employer Brand. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category. 

The judges will be examining both aesthetic and technical aspects of the careers website, including use of brand, use of photos and video, navigation and browsing ease, mobile and  tablet responsiveness, accessibility and content copy.  Should you require further assistance please contact awards@thefirm-network.com

BEST DIVERSITY & INCLUSION RECRUITMENT STRATEGY

This category recognises exceptional creativity and innovation in development and delivery of an effective Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment strategy. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category.

The judges will be keen to assess the positive impact that the D&I recruitment strategy has had to your organisation in terms of diversity metrics and company success, along with understanding what D&I, as applied to recruitment, means to your organisation. BEST SUPPLIER PARTNERSHIP

As functions mature, suppliers often form a crucial and integral part of the organisation's success in talent acquisition, either as an ongoing or outsourcing component to the department, or engaging for a specific project or major initiative. This category seeks to recognise suppliers and employers who have achieved the bench mark in supplier engagement, management and utilisation. Nominations accepted from both Employers and Suppliers.

The judges will be keen to see evidence of a thorough engagement process, excellent ongoing stakeholder management and collaboration practices, and a clear commitment to shared success. INNOVATION OF THE YEAR

This category recognises exceptional and outstanding innovation in any aspect of the recruitment life-cycle within a single organisation or team. Entries will be accepted from a recruiting team, a project team or from an individual. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category.

The judges will be providing credit to entries which demonstrate genuine innovation in either the concept or a major component of methodology in an initiative focusing on talent acquistion. Marks will be allocated for measured results, stakeholder feedback and evidence of thorough planning, testing and effective implementation. Please provide the information requested below. BEST HIRING MANAGER EXPERIENCE

This category seeks to recognise the provision of an excellent recruitment service to the business, and in particular the high levels of stakeholder management and nurturing of excellent hiring manager relationships which support a high quality hiring manager experience. Self-nominations will be permitted for this category. 

Judges will be keen to understand the stakeholder engagement philosophy and the tools and principles adopted to fulfill this. Special emphasis will be placed on measurable satisfaction statistics and hiring manager testimonials supporting the entry. Please provide the information requested below. OUTSTANDING IMPACT TRANSFORMATION & CHANGE

This category recognises the most effective positive impact a team or Recruitment Manager has had to the delivery of the recruitment service to internal customers and candidates alike. This award can be entered for by a team, part of a team or an individual. The Judges will accept self-nominations, as well as nominations from an individual's manager, an HRD, colleagues or an internal customer.

The Judges will be keen to understand what the reason and justification for the transformation are/were, its scope and scale, the timeframes and objectives to be met, what the results of change were in terms of quantifiable measures and statistics, what the ROI was, as well as how it was measured.Please provide the information requested below. BEST DEVELOPMENT OF AN EMPLOYER BRAND

This category is open to all recruitment teams and other partnering departments in the same organisation, if applicable. This category recognises the most successful and effective development of an Employer Brand (EB) and its impact on the Recruiting function and recruitment lifecycle. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category.

Emphasis will be placed on clearly defined objectives, how they were met and what improvements the programme had from previous years, measured in terms of feedback and hiring metrics. BEST SOCIAL RECRUITMENT STRATEGY

Social networks, both established and new, are increasingly avenues of attraction and engagement for talent. This category recognises initiatives focusing on social channels to achieve hiring objections. Self-nomination is permitted for this category. 

The judges will be looking for evidence of a clear strategy behind channel selection, excellent audience engagement, and the methods use to retain and promote brand identity and convert prospects to candidates. BEST CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

This category recognises the most creative, successful and friendly candidate experience. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category. 

The Judges will have a particular interest in how the nominees have worked to create a consistent Candidate First engagement model, how it has been used to improve the quality of applications and hires and show a clear understanding of market demographics when engaging with different applicants and candidates in the grading structure. BEST ON-BOARDING EXPERIENCE

This category recognises and acknowledges outstanding development and delivery of an effective pre-boarding and on-boarding strategy for all new hires. The Judges will accept self-nominations for this category. 

The judges will be interested to understand how the strategy has improved employee engagement, quality of hire and if any direct impact on company performance can be attributed. RECRUITMENT EFFECTIVENESS AWARD

A new award for 2019, we are now recognising the work recruitment functions do to achieve results through the quality and management of their processes. Do you truly operate a data-driven function (not just produce a pretty monthly report), have you transformed your time or cost of hire through efficiency measures, or have you harnessed your technology to automate the things other companies still do manually? You don't have to have a team of champions, the most inspiring leaders, or a meaty transformation agenda to be doing excellent business-as-usual work. If the answer is yes to any of the above, this award is probably for you.

SUPPLIER INNOVATION OF THE YEAR

Talent Acquisition is never usually a wholly internal affair, and high performing companies across the world rely on the technology, expertise, creativity and solutions available from a host of vendors and suppliers. It is the innovation of these suppliers which more often than not kicks our profession into new phases of our evolution, and in pace with the changing shape of workplaces and job seekers. This award recognises innovations from the recruitment vendor landscape, without which our pace of change would certainly be slower.

BEST INTERNAL RECRUITMENT STRATEGY

Properly managing an effective internal recruitment regime is often seen as the second class citizen to company's external recruiting efforts. This category recognises excellence in promoting internal mobility and career development through a well-crafted and implemented internal recruitment strategy. Self-nomination is permitted for this category. 

Judges will be keen to see evidence of a specifically engineered recruitment strategy and policy for employees, metrics supporting the important place internal recruitment plays in vacancy fulfillment, and testimonials supporting the realisation of the strategy at the company.
