Rebecca has recently joined Capita as the Head of Divisional Resourcing for Government Services. Capita is one of the UK’s largest consulting and digital services and software businesses, with over 60, 000 employees in the UK, Europe, India and Africa.
Rebecca currently manages a global delivery team to deliver over 3000 hires per annum and 10, 000 employees. Capita is undergoing business and recruitment transformation and Rebecca has brought her previous award winning experience of diversity hiring to help drive a purpose led business that focuses on people. Prior to Capita, Rebecca acted as the Head of TA, Early Careers & Diversity Hiring for Transport for London, one of the world’s largest transport authorities leading on disruptive recruitment strategies to remove barriers for diverse talent and help them to thrive.
Her background spans over 20 years of broad Talent, TA and HR experience across a breadth of industries from technology, banking, financial services, telecommunications, transport and consultancy sectors. Rebecca is an avid ‘Diversity’ enthusiast and regular speaker contributing to industry thought leadership to help overcome the core challenges facing the industry on creating a fairer playing field for talent.
This includes; youth in STEM, EVP/Employer Branding, Mentoring and Talent Development. She was named as ‘Recruitment Leader of the Year’ at the Forum of In-house Recruitment Managers (2018), one of the Top 11 Recruiters in 2020 with the Recruiter Magazine, and is currently being mentored with the top 30% club. Rebecca shares a dual heritage background and she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of diverse recruitment leaders to fake it, make it and become it, like her, she feels they are not too far behind her.
